Awbury Arboretum in Autumn

Philadelphia has been too beautiful for words.  Treat yourself to even more beauty at the Awbury Arboretum.

Native American Cuisine

November 8th, 11th, 15th, 18th or 22nd
10am – Noon

Sue Wasserkrug, Chef and Owner of Zea May’s Native American Kitchen will offer 2-hour hands-on lesson exploring Native American cooking traditions. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and sample indigenous foods of the Americas.

Cost: $8 per student

Only about five miles north of Temple’s Main Campus, you can get there many ways including by bike.  The Arboretum is easily accessible by public transportation: The Station Rd. entrance to the Arboretum is directly across from Washington Lane Station on SEPTA’s Chestnut Hill East Line. SEPTA bus routes 18 and 26 stop on Chew Ave. and the XH bus stops on Washington Lane. If traveling by car, parking is available at the Cope House, accessible by the Arboretum’s main entrance on Chew Ave. between Washington Ln. and Haines St.
