An exhibition preview in partnership with the Energy Coordinating Agency. The iconic brick row home, brought to Philadelphia by English colonists, has served the city well for hundreds of years. To meet the challenges of the next hundred years the structure must become more energy efficient. The Energy Coordinating Agency, a local nonprofit, has been working to transform homes and neighborhoods into sustainable, affordable and healthy environments for almost 30 years, saving energy and water, using the best techniques and technologies available, and training thousands of men and women for the clean energy economy. ECA’s exhibit, located in the Museums Community History Gallery, will feature human and technical aspects of this transformation across the city and region.
